I love games with fun tough choices. Wanting to do everything, but unable to do so makes for an interesting game. Lift Off is a game where drafting is the main part of the decisions you make. Specialist cards will give you multiple options of doing different things or they can just give you money.

Your goal is to become the most popular space agency by gaining the most victory points by the end of the game. And oh boy is this a points game! You'll get lots...if you can manage things accordingly.

So I take this specialist so I can invest in the space station or maybe this one so I can launch an extra rocket? Ah, but a faster ship that can carry more weight would be nice...oh wait I need money!! Where is all my money?!

It's 4 rounds of using the money and missions you gain JUST RIGHT in order to get the most out of everything without being able to do everything. It's a perfect length for a game like this and the aesthetic is to be noted as well.

This is a game of risky decisions and big payouts. It's complex in its decisions and not the gameplay which we've been enjoying games of this type more often lately. No sprawling adventure with thousands of cards or crazy big set ups where everyone can't see the stuff on the table. It's quaint, fun, and just thinky enough for a great time at the table.
