Sometimes, a good push-your-luck dice chucker is all you need to pass the time. Better yet, one that can go anywhere, looks good, and takes just a few minutes to play.
Chicken! is simple, don't get three foxes or you bust and don't score. First to 25 points wins. Hatch more eggs for more dice, but at a higher risk of busting. It's elegant, fast paced, and full of laughs.
Luck? Oh yes, of course. Don't go into this expecting to have your mind changed on liking luck based games. Yet, I feel there is a time where you don't need that heavy strategy game. You don't always need a million decisions. Just fun. Plain and simple.
In a sense this reminds me of Farkle, my dad loves it and I have no doubt he'll quite enjoy this. This game was meant for groups of people laughing, conversing, and having a good time. It's there to facilitate that happy give and experience of being in each other's company. That's all it needs to be, and for that I love it.
